Keane’s Song

In memory of their friend Keane Wallis-Bennett, a group of pupils from Liberton High School wrote a song with support from the school chaplaincy. This was a project which began very shortly after her tragic death. They have now recorded the song and it is available for download; the funds raised are going towards creating a memorial garden at the school.

If you would like to support this project and download the song, you can do so by clicking here (for iTunes) and here (for Google Play).

For more details about the song and how it came about, please click here to read an article on the STV Edinburgh website, which includes an interview with the chaplain who was involved with the project.

Liberton High School athletics event

LHS Athletics event 5.9.14An athletics event held at Liberton High School was on the front page of the Evening News on Friday. Local children enjoyed a range of activities as part of the Lowland Games – Try Athletics Series. This aims to capitalise on the excitement generated by Glasgow 2014 and provide a lasting legacy, as well as providing local clubs with the chance to showcase what they have to offer.
