Primary 6b have worked very hard to make their own animated films. The children were given the brief to create a story which showed how a character coped with a difficult situation. They’ve done so in very creative and imaginative ways! They used the I Can Animate app on iPads to film the animation, and added sound effects and narration using the iMovie app. They then used the Garageband app to add music. Please watch their films and any comments would be very much appreciated.
We’ve been sharing reviews of our favourite books for World Book Day. We’ve posted QR codes around the school so that people can scan the codes using an iPad or phone to listen to us read them. You can also listen to them below:
We’ve been learning about micro-organisms, and how to present information using the iPad app ‘Book Creator’. We’ve uploaded our books as videos so that others can watch them:
We’ve been learning how to use chalk in art lessons to create different tones and highlights to represent light and shadow. Look at the fabulous pictures we drew of snowmen at night:
As part of project on Iron Age Scotland earlier this year, we worked in co-operative groups to research an aspect of life during this time, and used the Book Creator app on iPads to document the process we went through. We’ve uploaded our books as videos below so you we could share our learning with a wider audience. Please take a look at our videos (it might be easier to read the pages if you pause the videos occasionally):
