Authors Live Event

As part of this year’s Book Week Scotland (week beginning 21st November), Scottish Book Trust are gifting Read, Write, Count bags to all primary 2 pupils in Scotland. The authors of one of the items in the bag presented a special live interactive event for children across the country. We got to hear them read their story, learn how to draw one of the characters, hear another of their stories and participate in a memory game. It was super!

The Weather

Our first science and social studies topic is ‘The Weather’. We have been discussing the weather each day, thinking about what clothes are suitable for different types of weather, looking at weather forecasts (and making some of our own!), making rain gauges to measure rainfall and even making our own rainbows! Have a look at some of the photos of our experiences so far.
