Co-operative Learning

At Liberton, we use the Co-operative Learning approach to enable our children to learn how to collaborate together on activities successfully. We ensure that every child has an active role, and that social skills are explicitly taught. An example of these social skills for a class can be viewed here.
We understand that learning is frequently most effective when learners have the opportunity to think and talk together, to discuss ideas, question, analyse and solve problems as a team.
