Update from the Green Rockers Eco Group
Our Green Rockers have been working with Edinburgh Council’s ‘Living Landscape’ team to plan wild flower and long grass meadows in our school grounds. We hope to encourage more biodiversity and look forward to finding out what wildlife these new habitats will attract. Watch this space!
Our Playground
Recently, we’ve made a few positive changes in our playground. Staff have been looking out for children being kind, and awarding them special green stars which are added to the class reward board in school. We see lots of friendly, helpful and kind children every day!
We have two large new boxes of play equipment for drier days, including art materials and books.
The Primary 2b class are continuing to have great success with their wonderful friendship bench. Please watch the video below to see some of the children tell you all about it:
