Liberton Primary School’s Reverse Advent Calendar

Our Equalities Libby Leaders group are organising a Reverse Advent Calendar, to support an Edinburgh Food Bank. Each year group has a day to bring in donations, and the Libby Leaders group will collect the items.

Days for items to be brought in:

Friday 30^th November: P7

Monday 3^rd December: P6

Tuesday 4^th December: P5

Wednesday 5^th December: P4

Thursday 6^th December: P3

Friday 7^th December: P1 and 2

The box will be taken to Sainsbury’s at Cameron Toll on Monday 10^th December.

Xmas pudding	Tinned vegetables
Selection box	Tinned meat
Cranberry sauce	UHT milk
Savoury crackers	Jam

Foam Dart Thunder – Nerf Club

Primary Schools Open Day 4th November 2015

We are holding our Open Day for parents of children due to start in Primary 1 in 2016 on 4th November.  Tours will be held from 9.30am – 11.30am and 1.30pm to 2.30pm.

Solar power event at Liberton Primary on Saturday

Liberton Primary has been chosen as one of 25 buildings to be fitted with solar panels. You can find out how you can invest in this programme at this meeting.

Diving Success

Well done to Charlie Mabbott in Primary 5 for representing Scotland at diving in the Celtic Cup in Belfast last weekend.  Charlie won an individual bronze medal and helped Scotland retain the overall trophy!

Support for Lismore Rugby Club

Lismore RFC are hoping to be successful with the Aviva Community Fund which could see them win up an extremely large sum of money to help develop sport in the community.
